AERZEN USA is an international manufacturer of Positive Displacement Blowers, Hybrid Blowers, Screw Compressors and Turbo Blowers. The high-quality machines are used for air and gas applications, for example in waste water treatment, pneumatic conveying of bulk materials and process gas conveying. In addition, AERZEN provides rental blowers quickly and easily.


We are currently seeking a Inside Service Sales Representative who is responsible for achieving Service revenue growth targets through pro-active customer engagement, promoting awareness of company’s service offerings across customer base, and sales actions to convert quotes to orders. Collaborates with Regional Sales Managers and provides support for other service team members as needed for managing service processing workload including generating quotes, processing orders, and following up with prospects.

  • Calls on equipment owners and business partners to provide technical support, offer service programs and follow-up on parts/service quotes in order to generate business.
  • Provides timely and accurate quotations to customers and identifies the appropriate replacement parts and services to complete customer orders.
  • Manage quotation pipeline and maintain follow-up communications with customers to drive sales. Prepares sales projections, forecasts, growth strategies, and reports as required utilizing CRM system and other company platforms.
  • Provides support to Customer Service Coordinator and other team members when needed for generating quotes and/or processing service/parts orders.
  • Utilizes installation records and customer database to identify and pursue targets for Preventive Maintenance programs, equipment overhauls/exchanges and spare parts needs. Utilize company CRM and MS Excel to search and manage customer data.
  • Understands installation, operational and maintenance needs of Aerzen equipment and provides support to customers via phone and/or by sending support documentation. Able to understand and communicate technical equipment details with others.
  • Prepare service and parts stocking plans for customers that maximize the utility of their Aerzen blowers and compressors and generate contingency plans to prevent or minimize impact of unplanned equipment failures.
  • Work closely with Field Service Technicians and provide follow-up support to customers as recommended by Technicians during field service activities.
  • Communicates with customers and co-workers professionally by phone, email, text or other social media. Occasional in-person site visits that may require overnight travel.
  • Provide leadership and administrative support for efficient execution of Preventive Maintenance Agreement program, Advance Exchange program, and New Equipment Commissioning process.
  • Generates aftersales leads/opportunities while interacting with customers and works closely with the Service Manager and Regional Sales Managers to effectively identify and schedule follow-up interactions; Provides timely follow up on open actions and opportunities.
  • Ensures that customer and machine data is accurate in CRM database.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent.

Field of Study: Technical or Business related, Engineering degree preferred

Experience: 3 to 5 years related customer support experience.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Windows 10, Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce and Navision is a plus.
