Express Employment Professionals of West Seneca is recruiting for an Sales Floor Assistant for our client located in Buffalo area. The Sales Floor Assistant’s number one objective is to help customers find products, and help them transport the products around the store or to their vehicle.

$17/hour plus
1% commission on invoiced sales

47 hour/week

Monday -Friday

8am - 5/6pm

Saturday

8am - 2pm

Requirements:

• Actively pursuing sales to customers in the store and parking lot if necessary.
• Answering product questions the customer might have that will aid in the product purchase.
• Learning the product line to the best of his/her ability and the location of said products.
• Using resources in the area, including co-workers or displays to attempt to help the customer.
• Never saying “NO” about the availability of an item, but rather checking with a manager, first.
• Loading/carrying items to help transport them to or from the sales counter or customer vehicle.
• Properly filing completed shipping paperwork with customer and shipper signatures included.
• Fixing, stacking, sweeping, and sorting products in all areas of the store as needed.
• Keeping the area in and around the sales counter clean.
• Maintaining a courteous and professional attitude towards customers and co-workers at all times.

The Sales Floor Assistant must be able to stand for the duration of the work day, and must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs if necessary.

Forklift training and certification may be offered to the Sales Floor Assistant during the course of employment.
