The Sales Associate works closely with customers to determine their needs, answer questions about products, and provide top notch customer service.

What will I be doing?

Our Sales Associates are critical to the daily operations of the store. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

· Learn about dog and cat nutrition, and use your knowledge to educate customers

· Assist clients in-store, over the phone and via online messaging with their purchases

· Process transactions on register, handling money and credit cards

· Maintain high standards of organization and cleanliness in-store

· Provide exceptional customer service

· Replenish merchandise, receive orders, and stock shelves

· Attend product trainings with brand representatives and management

Required Experience?

· 1 year of customer service experience

· Previous experience in premium pet retail preferred, but not required

Required Education?

· High school diploma/GED

· Be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements

This job requires flexibility in scheduling and can require evening and weekend work. This position will work mainly indoors in a climate-controlled facility, but there will also be minimal outdoor work in this position to assist customer needs.

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time

· Must be able to lift, move, and handle up to 50 pounds

· Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb to stock product
