We are seeking a highly organized, enterprising Sales Coordinator (International and Ecommerce) to join our operations team in a full-time capacity. This is an opportunity to support the LifeStraw sales staff, external sales agencies, & ecommerce operations.
This is a hybrid remote role (3 days in office 2 days remote per week) based in our Baltimore, MD, office, working closely with our operations, sales, product and marketing teams.

Sales Coordinator – International and Ecommerce

Job Title: Sales Coordinator – International and Ecommerce Department: Operations
Reports to: Sales Operations Lead Location: Baltimore, MD

Position Overview

The Sales Coordinator position is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties that support the LifeStraw sales staff, external sales agencies, & ecommerce. This position requires a proactive approach to create and streamline internal processes, anticipate needs, and proactively come to the team with solutions. Responsibilities include internal coordination across the sales team, supply chain, accounting, warehouse and IT and external coordination with orders, invoicing for clients as well as support for sales staff.

What You’ll Be Doing – The Essentials
  • Confirming and accurately inputting sales orders and providing timely feedback to clients including invoicing, shipment information and/or manage any order changes both within and outside of an ERP system.
  • Supporting the onboarding of new clients including vendor set up and EDI.
  • Interacting with customers, processing orders and answering general customer questions pertaining to order management.
  • Interacting with logistics (warehouse) and supply chain to discuss production, sample requests, shipping, vendor issues, and any other pertinent issues.
  • Managing projects assigned by the sales team, including weekly and monthly data entry, data analysis, trade show support and other sales support functions that may arise.
  • Compiling weekly order and forecast information and updating and communicating allocated and unallocated inventory tracking for international customers & ecommerce inventory gaps.
  • Fulfilling other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Profile
  • 2+ years of experience in sales support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Proficient in relevant software including Excel (MS Office Suite), SourceDay, SPS & Shopify.
Essential Physical Demands and Typical Working Conditions

Physical demands include bending, carrying, pushing-pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, walking and extremes of temperature and humidity, as well as travel between physical locations. Hazards include stairs and communicable diseases.
