Now Hiring - Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager/Service Representative in Springfield, MO

Nixon & Lindstrom Insurance is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative to service and manage a commercial lines book of business and aid our sales team in marketing and binding new accounts.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with customer service needs by corresponding and communicating via email and phone with clients, producers and insurance carriers.
• Maintain accurate data in the agency management system according to agency procedures.
• Process policy renewals, changes and cancellations.
• Prepare documents for new accounts including certificates, auto ID cards, evidence of insurance.
• Input transactions into Agency Management System to generate billing invoices and ensure that policies are delivered and/or mailed to client in a timely manner.
• Market new and renewal business to appropriate carriers as needed or requested, including preparing complete marketing submissions to the marketing department.
• Other responsibilities include reviewing audits, filing and monitoring open claims, marketing, binding, and bonding.
• Additional duties as requested by management.

Requirements/Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in the commercial lines insurance industry, preferably in an agency setting.
• Market knowledge of rates, forms and coverage pertaining to commercial insurance accounts.
• Missouri Commercial Lines Property and Casualty Insurance license.
• Required computer skills include a strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including Word and Outlook along with the ability to utilize an agency management system.
