Canby Rental & Equipment, Inc. (CRE), is looking for a motivated individual to generate sales of new equipment for a growing, vibrant company in the outdoor power equipment industry. This position entails greeting customers both in person and over the phone, using a computer to enter data and write invoices, effectively communicating features & benefits, building relationships with customers to satisfy their needs & get them ‘best fit’ equipment, occasional set up of new power equipment from boxes or crates, and occasional in-field demonstration and/or delivery of new equipment. Training objectives will be laid out and monitored, and cross training for CRE’s other departments (parts, service, rental) will occur. The ability to process significant amounts of information and work in a fast-paced environment—while maintaining CRE’s friendly, inclusive customer-focused culture—are necessary in this position. Here are a few things we’d like to see from our applicants:

• A fantastic attitude and enthusiasm for customer service
• Previous sales experience is a plus
• Familiarity with outdoor power equipment is a plus
• Good record of past employment with references
• A current & valid Oregon driver license, CDL NOT required
• Experience towing a trailer is a plus
• Computer familiarity (Windows, MS Office, email), including typing skills
• Forklift skills, we will train on site if necessary
• Superior work ethic & a sense of urgency
• Bilingual English/Spanish a strong positive, but not a deal-breaker

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
