Sales Associate / Retail Account Specialist

Vehrs Distributing is looking for a top-tier candidate to grow with us. Are you dedicated to superior customer service, personal development, and teamwork? The primary responsibility of the Sales Associate / Retail Account Specialist is to produce retail sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services. This includes regularly visiting assigned accounts to maintain the stock on the shelves, work back stock, fill cold boxes, and build displays. You must represent the company in a professional manner and communicate with our customers in a positive manner. You must be 21 years of age or older. The territory includes Seattle, Bellevue, Issaquah and Renton.

Job Description and Qualifications:

· Regularly call on assigned accounts and provide merchandising services

· Discuss with manager any special instructions, product promotions, new products or price changes

· Dust and maintain store shelves by observing displays of company products, tidying store shelves and providing optimum display of products

· Maintain inventory by restocking shelves with product from inventory; observing inventory levels and communicating any low levels to the sales representative or store manager and order entry as necessary

· Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards

· Build displays; reset support as needed

· Communicate with customers in a positive manner

· Maintain customer relations

Requirements:

· Reliable transportation is required along with proof of insurance, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record

· Computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite

· Ability to lift 50 pounds

· Able to walk, bend, reach, and kneel

· You must pass a drug and physical abilities test

Physical Requirements: You must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time, and be able to bend, reach, kneel, stoop and grasp. You must be able to climb a ladder when necessary and be able to reach above your head and shoulders. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and must be able to meet the demanding challenges of loading/unloading and have no physical lifting limitations.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
