Hyatt House Portland/Beaverton is looking for an MOD/Sales Coordinator. This role will act as the Manager on Duty two days a week and will act as a Sales Coordinator the other two days a week. Schedule will be Sunday - Thursday from 8a-4:30pm.

JOB SUMMARY Responsible for in‐house Sales, client requests, clerical support for the Sales team, and coordinating with other departments. Responsible for handling tours and Sales bookings for conference rooms and small groups.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS SUPPORT SALES TEAM

 Prepare all correspondence and reports for Sales team members.

 Create and distribute flyers and invitations to client events.

 Establish and maintain Sales files.

 Order amenities and maintain Sales storage areas.

 Order and maintain Sales collateral and office supplies. Guest Service

 Communicate with other hotel departments about all necessary Sales information for the professional execution of commitments.

 Answer Guest questions regarding the hotel and local area facilities and services.

 Select and prepare show rooms; give walk‐in tours.

 Handle conference room and small group bookings.

 Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with Guests, clients, co‐workers, and management.

 Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required.

 Attend weekly Sales meeting and quarterly Action Plan meetings.

 Assist in other departments as needed.

 Adhere to proper grooming and dress codes for the department.

 Knowledge of and ability to carry out hotel emergency procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
