Job Title: Express Store Technician Date: 1/12/2022

Objective: Create an exceptional customer experience in our retail stores through solving customers' problems by creating hydraulic hose assemblies and finding other needed products through our core product line to help customers get the parts they need to get their equipment up and running in a timely fashion.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus

• Technical or mechanical aptitude- Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, hose, and fittings and/or pipe threads plus

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle during business hours Job Requirements:

• Strong hands-on mechanical skills and aptitude

• Self-Starter, Task Driven, Detail Oriented

• Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, or G-Mail

Basic Mathematical and Reasoning Skills

• Support Distribution Sales Including Fulfilling Non-Store Sales

• General understanding of the principles of sales

• Strong communication skills

• Experience with customer service

• Experience engaging customers and making them feel welcome in our stores and confident they will get the right solution for their problems

• Uniforms are provided, required, and must be maintained

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Ability to load and unload trucks with attention to safety and product quality Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet, assist, and partner retail and manufacturing customers in purchasing hydraulic hose parts or components through familiarity and knowledge of vendor's products.

• Create an exceptional customer experience through friendly and knowledgeable engagement with the customer.

• Identify the type of hose and fittings the customer needs. Select necessary hose to make the assembly.

Prepare sales or work orders both manually and computer generated.

• Identify other items the customer may need.

• Use creative solutions to meet the customers' needs.

• Complete jobs in a timely manner and achieve zero comebacks.

• Cut, fit, and assemble hose and hose fittings and inspector test completed assembly.

• Use a variety of hand tools (wrench, hammer, handsaw, pneumatic wrench, hand grinder, power drill, calipers) and shop equipment (hose Crimp machine, reusable hose assembly equipment, hose test machine, hose cut off saw, grinder, forklift, hydraulic shop press, welder, acetylene torch, pressure washer, drill press, band saw, parts cleaner).

• Ensure proper inventory is maintained by counting, reordering, or shipping materials.

• Put away stock and pull orders. Travel to customer locations to perform inventory and delivery inventory for bin stocking accounts.

• Maintain general work area and shop equipment in a clean, neat, safe manner.

• Perform other related duties as required.'
