JOB DESCRIPTION – SALES ADMIN LEAD CompuTech

JOB TITLE: Sales Admin Lead LOCATION: Bountiful, UT

DEPARTMENT: Sales Administration MODALITY: In-Office, In-Person

DATE UPDATED: 02/09/2023 STATUS/HOURS: Exempt, Full-Time (40)

SUMMARY:

The key overall objective of the Sales Admin Lead is to oversee the Sales Administration department in meeting or exceeding revenue goals and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. They will provide administrative assistance in sales and purchasing and generate new sales opportunities through account management and strong client relation-building.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Motivates and encourages sales admin team to ensure quotas are met.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Facilitates team meetings including but not limited to bi-weekly team meetings, one-on- one meetings.

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES:

  • Documents internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
  • Engages potential clients in marketplace, through professional communication and etiquette.
  • Manages and interprets customer requirements—speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.
  • Expands market awareness of products and industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively.
  • Maintains records of customer communications and contact information.
  • Prepares responses to RFP (request for proposals) and RFI (request for information).
  • Attends and participates in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
  • Maintains knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing or marketing strategies.
  • Develops in-depth knowledge of Managed Service offerings and how it relates to customer’s needs, in present day and in forecasts (as industry trends dictate).
  • Negotiates pricing, deal registrations, and contract terms with vendors and/or clients.
  • Coordinates order processing—generates reports and invoices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Preferred CRM experience (Quotewerks, Autotask, Quickbooks)
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role in a multi-client environment.
  • Preferred experience working in a Technology Service or Managed IT Service organization.
