Full description of the position

We are looking for an Licensed in P and C, experienced Insurance PL Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. We are looking for a team member that appreciates a positive workplave environment and has a great attitude. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, and preparing sales proposals, retaining business. Account Managers answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should collaborate with our sales team to achieve new business and retention goals..

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned customer account management matters.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customers.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
• Prepare reports on account status.
• Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
• Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

Skills

• Proven work experience as an Account Manager, 5 years experience desired.
• Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively.
• Solid experience with Agency Management Software, preferably Vertifore. and MS Office
• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
• Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills'
