General Summary: Responsible for selling Stewart-Haas Racing (NASCAR) assets including but not limited to multi-year partnerships, at-track activations, and streaming advertising to local and national sponsors. This is strictly a sales position that is responsible for achieving measurable financial results. The position supports all aspects of sponsorship sales, including identifying appropriate categories and companies to prospect, researching appropriate categories and companies, soliciting specific companies and applicable decision-makers, preparing presentations, presenting such materials to senior executives, and managing the sales process through contract execution.

The position is based in Kannapolis, NC, and the candidate is expected to be in the office during regular working hours as well as nights and weekends throughout the season.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

· Research, prospect and establish new leads for corporate relationships

· Secure meetings with senior-level decision-makers that incorporate a clear understanding of the prospective partner's marketing and business objectives

· Work closely with the SHR Partnerships team to establish a business plan to achieve organizational sales and services goals.

· Build, develop and track a robust new revenue pipeline and present it to senior leadership as requested

· Work closely with the SHR Partnership team to ensure assets are structured, packaged, and priced to maximize revenue and value to corporate partners.

Education and Work Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree required

· A minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in sales preferably in the sports and/or entertainment industry

· Proven track record in pitching, negotiating, and generating revenue

· Experience in making impactful presentations to senior executives

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

· Excellent people skills; must interact professionally within all levels of an organization

· Must possess analytical, strategic, and creative thinking abilities

· Customer service focus; committed to catering to potential and existing team sponsors

· Must be able to work cooperatively in a team setting

· A self-motivated individual, that can multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· Understanding of sports sponsorship platforms, including motorsports marketing, is a plus

· Excellent organization and communication skills

· Must be able to work non-traditional work hours (evenings, weekends, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
