SB Specialty Metals offers an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, independent individual with career interests in technical steel sales. This account representative position provides support for our company’s outside sales team. This position is a great opportunity to get “fast track” training in our constantly changing global environment. The individual must enjoy working in a dynamic fast paced environment and must possess the desire & motivation for career advancement within the Steel Industry.

Responsibilities:

· Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by recording and quoting customer requirements.

· Follows up on quotes and convert to sales.

· Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by focusing on increasing product knowledge.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

This individual must possess the following qualifications:

· 4+ years inside sales preferably in steel or industrial sales

· Established career interests and aptitude in sales.

· Must have inside sales/customer service experience with specialty steel industry knowledge. (Preferred)

· Minimum High School Graduate - Some college in a Business discipline preferred

· Computer Literacy

· Motivation for Sales

· Data entry accuracy a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
