Job Description

Tranco Global is seeking a highly motivated top-performer to join our team as Manager of International Sales. This position that will be based in Chicago, IL. The successful candidate will work from home, travel to meet customers, and report the office as needed. This represents an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious team player looking to flourish with a rapidly growing organization.

The successful candidate must have a strong sales presence, both over the phone and in person. This self-starter will be continually onboarding new customers. Tranco Global provides a solid base salary coupled with an aggressive commission structure.

Job Duties

· Research, qualify, and solicit new business

· Make outbound telephone calls to prospective and existing customers

· Schedule and conduct face-to-face sales meetings with prospects and existing customers

· Negotiate rates and pricing with prospects and existing customers

· Effectively communicate with customers, agents, and co-workers, both domestically and internationally

· Enter sales activity into the Tranco computer system in an accurate and timely manner

· Maintain professional conduct with colleagues and customers

· Adhere to Tranco policies and procedures

· Comply with all government regulations

Job Requirements

· Ability to sell Tranco Global services to new customers

· Three (3) plus years of international freight forwarding experience (air, ocean, and customs clearance)

· Experience in sales and business development

· Overnight travel required (Estimated – 30%)

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Microsoft Office computer skills

· Ability to make outbound telemarketing calls

· Ability to stay current with the Company’s KPIs

· Ability to operate in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment

· CargoWise system experience a plus

· Due to the legal requirements of Tranco’s business, applicants will be subject to a thorough background check that precludes any felony convictions

Pay: $65,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
