Overview:

Responsibilities:
Facilitate internal and external communications regarding technical support and parts identification.
Collaborate with internal teams throughout the company to resolve customer/field service issues and determine root cause and implement corrective actions.
Log all technical support issues, research customer history and maintenance and request assistance from other departments as necessary for all onsite customer and/or field service concerns.
Research to find part numbers in manuals, historical databases, the ERP system and engineering drawings when not available for all quotes, orders, catalogs, field service, etc.
Create mechanical spare parts lists for capital projects to be included with the machine and incorporated with the catalog.
Work closely with the Sales Account Executives to create and implement efficient process; including but not limited to file restructuring, customer files and quote process improvement.
Suggest and aid in implementing process improvements specifically regarding increased efficiency and customer information.
Assist in writing and training of new SOP documents in order to implement change.
Double check any audit and service parts lists for accuracy.
Review field service reports and suggest any proactive sales opportunities or maintenance parts needed.
Identify part problems and inconsistencies then work with engineering and operations to standardize and supersede/obsolete parts.
Work with Sales Account Executives to facilitate customer conference calls, answer technical questions and provide overall support regarding part identification and operational function.
Responsible for reporting safety hazards and implementing new standards as needed.
Perform all duties and assigned tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
Other duties as required as directed by manager and management team.

Qualifications:
Prior industry experience required.
High school diploma required; further education or certification is preferred.
Electrical experience is a plus to fill key experience gaps with existing Team.
Strong mechanical work history and tool knowledge.
Experience in reading and understanding engineered drawings.

Tenacity to find the correct answer the first time while getting to the root cause of the problem.
Proven ability to understand dimensional tolerances, engineered drawings and blueprints.
Ability to professionally communicate with coworkers, customers and vendors.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while remaining polite and calm when dealing with customers and co-workers.
Ability to problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient working on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills.
Experience with various computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
Positive attitude and team player spirit.
