2023 Entry Level - Associate Sales

We are a leading global supplier of hybrid and conventional plastic fuel tank systems, selective catalytic reduction systems (SCR) and clear vision systems and sensors. In addition, we also have a segment in the company (CWC) that produces and supplies camshafts, castings and industrial packaging. Globally headquartered in Bonn, Germany with North American HQ in Troy, MI.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and maintain all commercial data in our Kautex systems SAP/Excel/PLM (centralized lifecycle management)/Up2Go (sales planning data)
  • check customer purchase orders and escalate in case of deviations compared to Kautex offer
  • Provide the customer with the necessary information in an efficient and professional manner
  • continuous offer/order tracking
  • Invoicing and maintaining tracking of orders to be invoiced
  • Maintaining customer demands in SAP (creating single orders for pre-production parts and maintaining delivery schedules for serial production)
  • Tracking of piece prices and of overdue invoices; follow up and adjusting customer information in SAP according to current P.O.
  • Processing of EDI workflow and follow-up with logistics and PM for new releases etc.
  • Master data maintenance in SAP
  • Maintain and ensure proper electronic filing of documents in accordance with Kautex FLP and DOA rules


Qualifications:

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable education is required
  • Experience in international automotive industry a plus
  • Good comprehension for finance and sales procedures and their feasibility
  • High affinity for numbers
  • Strong will to learn constantly to develop personal skills
  • Have a basic technical understanding
  • Show interest in our products and how they are developed and manufactured
