Harry Miller Company of Boston is seeking a self-motivated Sales & Marketing Manager to develop and execute sales & marketing strategies for new and existing products and services. The Sales & Marketing Manager will support the protective padding and defense divisions and help launch a new line of high-end bags and ancillary products.

Sales Responsibilities

• Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the U.S. and southern Canada.
• Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers as required
• Prepare oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
• Participate in trade shows, trade organization meetings and conventions as required

Marketing Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies and vendors to develop marketing strategies to promote new and existing products and services
• Compile market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends
• Lead the development of marketing assets and write engaging content for website, social media, email, ads, brochures, products, etc.
• Collaborate with product development team on product and packaging designs

Required skills and qualifications

• Proven success in sales or marketing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• This is an in-office position that requires frequent travel in the U.S. and southern Canada

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy, trends, and measurement preferred
• Photography and graphic design experience a plus but not required

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
