Now Hiring - Energy Advisor in Wilton, IA

The energy advisor is responsible to drive the success of energy efficiency offerings and programs to members, focusing on managing electric energy use, including efficiency and distributed generation. The energy advisor markets programs and services to members. Product and service offerings include, but are not limited to, community solar, energy storage and beneficial electrification. This position educates members on available renewable options to meet their needs and by conducting energy assessments on members’ homes and businesses to quantify energy consumption and calculate potential energy savings. In addition, the person advises and assists in the coordination of services for members—including trade partner facilitation—and identifying opportunities regarding energy efficiency and introduce various regulatory and member incentive measures affecting the member. Other responsibilities include but not limited to calculating electrical loads and project costs, processing member account information, and addressing member inquiries.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of a related vocational technical degree program with two years’ work experience is required. A combination of electrical experience and education will be considered in lieu of education and experience requirements. Previous energy efficiency, sales and customer service experience is preferred. Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a safe driving record.

Background and pre-employment physical and drug screening are required.
