Full description of the position

The following are areas of responsibilities will include but are not limited to as an Outside Dealer Sales Representative of Metro Auto Auction:

• Visit dealers to foster working relationships
• Persuade dealers to consign vehicles
• Confirm reserved numbers before weekly sale
• Assist the set-up of lanes
• Walk consigned vehicles prior to auction
• Help make any last-minute changes
• Weekly coordination of vehicles
• Maintain dealer inventory
• Communicate as necessary to procure inventory
• Confirm and coordinate reconditioning work
• Develop procedure for reconditioning completion and monitoring
• Confirm vehicles are “On Spot” prior to sale
• Print “Run Lists” for each dealer prior to sale
• Monitor sale results
• Provide all necessary “Post Sale” reports
• Thorough understanding of industry and trends

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· 1 – 3 years outside sales experience

· Valid Texas driver’s license with good driving record

· Reliable transportation

· Outstanding communication

· Big picture outlook

· Demonstrates a “can do” attitude, with outstanding organization skills

· History of good attendance, punctuality and stable work history

· Demonstrates good manners and exemplary customer service behavior

Job Type: Full-time
