ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement current compliance program and revise as needed
• Develop organizational strategy to ensure company complies with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Establish compliance goals each year
• Oversee compliance training and education of all employees
• Investigate compliance issues and recommend changes that assure compliance with contractual obligations and state and federal law
• Perform various auditing and monitoring activities and issue corrective action plans, as needed
• Identify risk and compliance concerns to the enterprise
• Maintain relationships with operational business areas and serves as subject matter expert providing guidance on various matters
• Conduct annual risk assessment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS):

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 or more years of related experience
• Experience with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations related to sales, marketing and communications
• General Compliance experience
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Experience presenting and interacting with senior leadership
• Experience in an audit or compliance role for a health plan
• Experience using metrics and other data for reporting and identifying improvement opportunities
