DESCRIPTION

His Story Development LLC seeks experienced individuals in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area excited about working on a Broadway style production to serve as the full-time Group Sales Manager.

His Story Development LLC is producing the world premiere of His Story: The Musical in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area as an open-ended, must-see theatrical event in The Broadway Tent at Grandscape, a state-of-the-art 1300-seat theater tent. In this new contemporary pop musical based on the life of Jesus, His Story: The Musical brings this iconic story into the third millennium with a contemporary voice and timeless perspective that engages the essential struggles of our global humanity reminding all of the universal power of love and redemption.

The Premier production will be directed by Broadway veteran Jeff Calhoun (Newsies, Bonnie & Clyde, High School Musical) and features choreography by Eamon Foley (Annie at The Hollywood Bowl), music supervision by Rick Hip-Flores (Natasha, Pierre..., In Transit on Broadway), arrangements by Rick Hip-Flores and Paweł ‘Bzim’ Zarecki. The entire creative team is made up of first-class artists and technicians from Broadway, live events and arena spectacles.

Grandscape is a brand-new, one-of-a-kind outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment destination – an oasis in North Dallas in the city of The Colony. It includes world-class restaurants, lush landscaping, family-friendly experiences, entertainment and events. Grandscape continues to lead the way for experience destinations around the globe. His Story: The Musical is proud to be the premier featured theatrical attraction at Grandscape.

Start dates: On or about March 1, 2023.

• The Group Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing content for all Group Sales outreach and sales strategies for His Story, The Musical. The Director will be a seasoned self-starter with the ability to build processes from the ground up and a strong understanding of how to engage customers and grow audiences from the secular as well as faith-based communities.
• Responsibilities include:
• Creating outreach materials for group sales solicitations.
• Research and cultivate local organizations for potential groups.
• Developing presentations for future initiatives.
• Coordinating with marketing team regarding current marketing initiatives.
• Initial outreach to local group/civic leaders.
• Liaison with Grandscape vendors for VIP group perks.
• Coordinate with Box Office for all group sales
• Facilitating all group sales, VIP groups and tour groups.

Qualities Desired:

• Previous experience (3-5 years) with group sales in the entertainment industry.
• Current knowledge of school groups, civic groups, church groups, bus tours, etc.
• Ability to excel under tight deadlines and independently manage multiple projects.
• Creative and resourceful.

Required from the Applicant:

• Flexible Schedule (some evenings and weekends).
• Leadership, Management and Customer Service.
• College Degree or equivalent experience.
• Quick thinking, cool under pressure, pleasant disposition.

Preferred:

• Experience in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Experience in Prioritizing, Time Management & Multitasking.
• Experience in open communication & email etiquette.
