Full description of the position

W.T. Hight Company is a leading distributor and solutions provider for casters, wheels and material handling products. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will endeavor to develop customer relationships via phone and email. The first 1-3 months of your tenure will be considered the training period where you will learn products offered and about the overall industry. Your education will be through hands on training with our inside and outside sales team. This position has the opportunity for growth within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with current customers and establish new business
• Provide pricing for casters, industrial storage systems, shelving and other material handling items that are used in hospitals, warehouses and manufacturing plants.
• Assist in maintaining sales territory accounts
• Scheduling and maintaining appointments for sales leads
• Create quotes, enter sales orders and strong attention to detail
• Maintain documentation of sales activities by use of CRM

Skills and Qualifications:

• Associates degree preferred
• Sales experience (1 yr. or more preferred)
• Ability to manage time efficiently
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Strong verbal, written and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Configurator or CAD experience is a plus
