INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Position Type: Direct Hire

Position Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Position Location: Madison Heights, MI

Position Salary: $45K + Commission

Our Client has an immediate opening for a motivated and experienced inside logistics sales representative at their Troy, MI location. You are required to have 1-2 years minimum logistic sales experience for this position.

Our client is a progressive, fast growing 3PL looking for an inside sales representative capable of helping them grow their business through top-notch leadership, creative thinking, process guided, customer focused, results oriented operations development. Experience in a 3PL environment a significant plus but the most important traits will be self-motivated, problem solving, customer service, and overall business development. The inside sales representative will be responsible for assisting with sales and organizational growth by closing sales, creating opportunities and following up with

Job Duties:

• Generate and close new business by making cold calls to potential customers, qualifying customers, and handling objections effectively.
• Develop rapport with potential and existing customers.
• Record and track all sales efforts using our CRM.
• Participate in regular sales meetings with management on goals and forecasting.
• Collaborate with team members on pricing decisions-Sell and book FTL/LTL shipments to carriers.
• Build / Book / Track shipments.
• Schedule pickup and delivery appointments.
• Must be willing to train and learn other operational tasks within the company.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 year of sales experience in over-the-road logistics.
• Professional, courteous, and cooperative with the team, customers, and carriers.
• Must have a drive to succeed, confidence, and great verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy working in a team environment with high levels of team communication.
• Must be self-motivated, punctual, and reliable.
• Must be willing to do what it takes to learn.
• Willing to be challenged and create solutions
