Summary:
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving D & D Commodities’ sales objectives for their defined territories, as well as collaborating with the Sales and Marketing management team to develop and implement effective programs that drive D & D’s success.
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for the ongoing account management and business development of a portfolio of customers as well as driving revenue growth by expanding our customer base through multiple sales channels.
This position is for a Territory Sales Manager that covers the states of Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania. Some travel to other areas for national trade shows and meetings is required on occasion.

This position offers an outstanding career opportunity for a results-oriented, high-energy sales professional to work with current distributors and retailers and to close new accounts for the company’s line of products.
The Territory Sales Manager will work closely with their direct supervisor, the Director of Sales Eastern U.S, to maintain and grow the business (primarily branded products Wild Delight, L’Avian Plus and Better Bird) within the territory specified.
Administrative duties require submitting a weekly summary to their manager, creating a weekly plan, and submitting expense reports.
The individual must be self-motivated, organized, and effective in the selling and promoting of our products.

Candidate Attributes:
- Experience in consumer product sales
- Experience with distributors and/or distributor salespeople
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Intermediate computer and database application skills, able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driver’s license and driving record within the MVR policy guidelines
- High school diploma
Work Environment:
This position is home-based and will require 3-4 days/nights spent in the field, making calls with Key Decision Makers, merchandising, cold calling, and prospecting new business.
Compensation:
The salary range for this sales position is $50,000 - $60,000 per year based on skills and experience plus the opportunity for an end-of-the-year growth bonus.
Customary business expenses are reimbursed.
