Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings, groups and events for all market segments
• Prepare contracts and proposals and coordinate payment
• Research competitors’ rates on line to ensure hotel is priced accordingly
• Support the Front Desk and make reservations
• Provide weekly reports to hotel departments about upcoming events
• Effectively communicate with all hotel departments on events
• Manage Groups & Meeting Room Rental
• Promptly answer telephone calls and communicate relevant account information to managers and departments
• Type and process correspondence, proposals and contracts
• Distribute memos, contracts, resumes, room requests and amenities to relevant departments
• Politely and professionally converse with clients and respond to all inquiries
• File and organize copies of contracts and correspondence ensuring records are up to date
• Reserve and confirm rooms and meeting space
