Full description of the position

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a key individual contributor, the Sales Coordinator will provide Sales Operations and Product related support services to drive commercial excellence. The primary focus of the role will anchor on core activities to enable our customer facing roles to optimize customer and selling activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Training commercial team on related internal systems, databases, and associated processes
  • Strategic customer support and execution of external communications including advising customers of product shortages, expected delivery dates, price changes, etc.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support/expertise to assist commercial team for customer/external engagements
  • Possess strong product knowledge
  • Delivers in depth presentations and product demonstrations to clients and sales representatives
  • May possess some capability for the installation component of product/service solutions and develop prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility of product solutions
  • Coordination of sales seminars and workshops for reps/customers
  • Leading inventory of sales literature and brochures
  • Maintaining a library of customer and competitor information
  • Preparing reports related to customer inquiries, sales trends, customer complaints, delivery/service problems, reasons for product returns, etc.
  • Responsible for team travel requirements, including lodgment of travel requests, and local vehicle transportation
  • Utilizes systems to quote the best rates and routes to optimize travel experience
  • Lead planning and logistics for large-scale internal meetings (e.g., annual meetings, team functions, etc.) including:
    • Facility selection, menu planning, transportation arrangements, provision of audio/visual equipment, etc.
    • Preparing and distributing invitations, agendas, reading material/ handouts
    • Maintain calendar of events, coordinating and recording event summaries and feedback from events
    • Contract liaison

CORE Proficiencies:

  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and self-sufficient while having the confidence to seek guidance and direction as needed
  • Solution-oriented and able to uncover pathways to efficiency for commercial leaders
  • Experience using CRM software (Smartsheet)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility and comfort working in a constantly evolving environment
  • Ability to work remotely with occasional travel

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in business, communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a Sales support role
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience working in LMS (LMS365 preferred)
  • CRM experience

Hiring Range: $45,400.00 - $71,280.00
