Now Hiring - Retail Sales Associate in Westlake, OH

We need an hourly associate for our Westlake location. Our hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 7:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 3:00pm. We specifically need to bring in somebody with scheduling flexibility IE: some but not all weekends, some but not all mornings, afternoons and evenings.

The sales associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The associate expertly advises our valued customer by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing our best practices related to the industry.

The ideal candidate has previous sales or customer service experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. He/she must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest time possible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
• Continuously practice good listening skills with customers and UPS store team members.
• Take ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offer viable solutions.
• Take actions to learn all product/service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
• Operate equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and willing to teach others.
• Package shipments for safe arrival including custom box building and cushioning contents.

Qualifications High school diploma or GED required

• Retail/customer service experience
• Good communication and people skills
• Sales oriented with the ability to up/cross sell products and services
• Prompt, reliable and hardworking
• Able to lift 40+ pounds
• Strong computer and internet skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
