Summary
The Director, Carrier Sales, Business Development will be responsible for promoting the sale of Nextivity products through, with and to North American MNOs (Mobile Network Operators) with emphasis on enterprise lead-generation and MNO relationship development. In addition, this role will be responsible for developing MNO enterprise sales champions, recruiting new Nextivity channel partners, and closing sales to these partners. This role will carry a revenue quota and be expected to expand Nextivity sales opportunities with each MNO in the North American region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build strategic sales relationships with MNO enterprise sales teams with primary goal of direct sales opportunities to MNO or indirect sales opportunities (leads) to MNO enterprise end-customers through Nextivity channel resellers.
- Work with local MNO enterprise sales teams in the region to support their sales efforts through sales discussions and interactions around product training, technical approvals, and any sales-related issues.
- Build strategic and synergistic sales relationships with MNO enterprise sales teams with Nextivity distributors.
- Maintain a timely and accurate database of all carrier contacts, leads and sales opportunities, in the Nextivity CRM (Salesforce).
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of Nextivity's full range of products, services and product roadmap and convey that knowledge to our partners in the region, adhering to company messaging and positioning strategies.
- Carry sales quota and plan/execute to achieve
- Actively seek potential new channel partners aligned with each MNO and help onboard when appropriate to resell Nextivity Products.
- Maintain regular communications with appropriate MNO groups and contacts regarding Nextivity products, programs, policy changes, EOL status or other important and useful information.
- Obtain current knowledge regarding MNO programs, initiatives, events, sales opportunities, and pending changes that will impact Nextivity sales
- Conduct a Quarterly Business Review (QBR) with key MNO partners in region and present to the VP Sales.
- Collaborate with Nextivity Marketing to help align and coordinate with strategic MNO marketing.
- Attend Nextivity sales meetings, trade shows and conferences.
- Travel to meet and manage potential MNO contacts when required.
- Develop new emerging sales channels for Nextivity products that align with each MNO network strategy and enterprise sales opportunities.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in business development opportunities serving MNOs and sales opportunities in the region.
- Assist as needed with new programs and initiatives to help scale MNO-driven Nextivity Sales.
- Other duties as defined and mutually agreed upon with the VP of Sales and other Nextivity team members.

Work Experience
- 10 years of carrier and/channel enterprise sales experience is preferred
- Experience selling Public Safety/FirstNet in-building coverage or DAS (Distributed Antenna System) products/solutions is required
- Experience and past success in a quota-driven sales environment with a record of overachievement required
- Successful enterprise sales and/or business development experience to, through or with a carrier is required
- Successful field sales experience utilizing channel reseller partners is required
- Experience selling technology products and solutions to the enterprise is required
- Experience with sales pipeline (funnel) management is required
- Experience selling cellular wireless products/solutions preferred
- Experience using video and audio conferences to conduct business effectively when needed is required
Education / Training
- Four-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
