Purpose of Job :

Sales Associates provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance. Sales Associates maintain the condition of the sales floor, ensure that it is clean, and shoppable.

Job Components:

• Provides fast, friendly service
• Actively seek out customers
• Offer a friendly greeting, smile, and make eye contact with customers
• Ask open ended questions in order to determine their needs
• Show interest in the customer
• Be knowledgeable about products
• Answer questions about merchandise
• Describe features and benefits of merchandise
• Drives Sales
• Discuss available options (good, better, best)
• Suggest related items
• Set and achieve personal sales goals
• Ensures department is in-stock, clean, and shoppable
• Deliver batteries when needed
• Remove/install automotive batteries on a daily basis.
• Additional Job Details: Schedule is Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm. Full time with benefits (medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401k). Job location is 9345 Cabot Drive San Diego, CA 92126.

Qualifications :

• Previous sales/customer service experience strongly preferred. Experience in automotive retail is a plus
• Basic computer skills required, i.e. Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Basic mechanical skills or willingness to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
