Full description of the position

Job Type: Full-time, On the Road

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Knowledge about Endovascular Health preferred but not required


Position Description:

Increase the practice’s referring physician base, strengthen existing referring relationships, and promote brand awareness among the medical community and general consumers.


REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

This position works under and reports directly to the Director of Marketing and works in concert with the practice physicians/providers.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct at least 55 office visits per week, 30% of which must be with a provider (MD/DO, PA, ARNP). The purpose of these visits will be to:
    • Educate existing and new referring offices on services offered, new studies, and advances, and answer clinical questions when appropriate (or ask the physicians and return with an answer)
    • Increase referral percentages/volume from existing and non-referring offices
    • Maintain image in the community as cutting-edge experts
    • Communicate opportunities, market trends, and issues to appropriate management/staff in a timely manner and on a regular basis
  • Effectively manage territory
    • Coordinate meetings between key physicians to improve communication and relationships in order to increase referrals
    • Call on targeted offices at the required reach and frequency.
    • Conduct “lunch and learns” high potential offices to educate staff and physicians on services/products/protocols (lunches are in addition to the weekly sales call quota)
  • Track all interactions and analyze referral trends
    • Maintain, update and refine our sales database in CRM for all offices, referring physicians and staff/office contacts.
    • Run timely reports to accurately track referring office activity (e.g. number of referrals, increase/decrease in referrals, etc.)
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Coordinate resolution of customer service issues between referring offices and practice
    • Maintain excellent relationships and communication with internal staff and physicians
    • Recommend additional marketing opportunities deemed appropriate for the practice audience and to improve efficiency in the field


Experience: 4 years sales experience with a proven track record required and 1 year of medical experience preferred

Basic Qualifications:

4 year degree preferred
Valid driver's license

Ability to effectively engage physicians in dialogue
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
