Basic Job Functions:

The role of the District Sales Manager consists of, but is not limited to, providing industry leading service by growing relationships with key customers, finding new strategic sales opportunities, submitting accurate forecasts and orders from customers while proactively solving problems. This position will help the sales team achieve revenue, shipment, and profitability goals. This position will require extensive travel and face-to-face interaction with all customers.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience.
• Able to engage in overnight travel on a weekly basis.
• Must be willing to relocate to the Houston, TX area.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sales or leadership experience in steel or related industries.
• Experience in merchant or rebar products.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or technical related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
