Essential Duties:
- Responds to customer requests and questions regarding service, products and account information.
- Analyzes and mitigates customer concerns using established procedures.
- Uses computer to access and/or update customer and transaction records as well as various software packages.
- Coordinates with corporate customer service personnel, and remedies overflow from retail and trade business units as necessary.
- Performs clerical and administrative support duties, prepares and distributes reports, and maintains files.
General Description:
- Troubleshoot after sale product related technical issues.
- Provide technical support via phone, email or on site to resolve customer issue to satisfaction.
- Researches complex problems obtaining necessary information to resolve problem with factory.
- Processes and tracks refunds within appropriate computer systems.
- Follow up on product warranty related refunds and replacements with factory.
- Provide complete circle resolution for all parties.
- Follows procedures & policies to ensure customer inquiries and complaints are handled and processed in accordance with company vision & brand identity.
- Determines best shipping methods based on product location, type of product and customers’ needs.
- Record and update inventory system utilizing approved procedures.
- Update and train sales personnel on new product requirements and integration with existing product lines.
- Process payments relating to point of sale orders.
- Quote potential freight charges.
- Liaise with operations departments as necessary to facilitate the fulfillment of local orders.
- Receive, research, respond, and, if necessary, assist other departments to solve, any and all customer service related issues, including delivery dates and order shortages.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
General Requirements:
- Sound working knowledge with Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP software & Microsoft Suite
- Organized and analytical.
- Computer focused to learn internal system as well as other web based processing systems.
- Able to identify problems providing prompt resolution.
- Work with product returns, processing credits, submitting claims with shipping carriers.
- Multi-task; comfortable working with a fast-paced environment; able to set priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Assist with department work, projects and support within as needed.
- Versatility to learn and work in various positions. May require some local traveling.
