Direct Components Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, team player to assist our growing sales department by generating leads and entering accurate customer account information.

The ideal candidate maintains excellent typing skills and proficiency in organizational and database software, with keen attention to detail. Your primary objective will be to support the Sales Team by providing sales leads by contacting new or existing customers by phone. Other duties will include database organization & administrative projects, while adapting to a fast-paced market and work environment. You will work closely with the Sales Administrative Coordinator, the Director of Sales, and other departments.

The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized, and motivated to proactively foster Direct Component’s lead filtration and distribution efforts.

This is a full–time position, 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday – Thursday and Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm at our Tampa based location.

Pay: $18-22/hr

Responsibilities:

• Promote DCI products and services to new or existing customers.
• Analyze customer needs and suggest product features.
• Maintain customer records using automated (CRM) systems.
• Execute a combination of calls, emails, and lead generation to prospective and established customers.
• Use your technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations to earn the maximum number of sales leads.

Requirements:

• A background in data entry and administration is strongly desirable.
• High School diploma required.
• 1 - 2 years' relevant work experience in data entry, administration, or similar field preferred.
• Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Friendly and personable demeanor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
• The desire to work in and support a fast-paced office environment.
