Customer Service/Counter Sales: Team Lead/Manager

Bristol Hose & Fitting is looking for individuals that want to be part of a winning team and have the desire to have the ability to work up through the company. We are a premier Parker Hannifin distributor with 2 ParkerStore locations.

For this position we are looking for individuals that have previously managed individuals or teams of people in a fast paced business to business type environment. They will be managing the day to day activities at our customer service counter (ParkerStore). This would include that person taking in customer orders, identifying them and what the customer needs, and then getting those orders out to the production guys to make. This person would also need to be able direct and mange their team daily to make sure task are getting done on time and the appearance of the store is appealing to customers.

This person should have some general mechanical knowledge and understand basic measuring with a tape measure and micrometer. We will teach all the necessary product knowledge and anything else product/industry related.

What you can expect

• Learning how to build custom hydraulic hose assemblies and identifying different types of fittings.
• working in our ERP system, cash handling and taking credit card payments.

• Weekly overtime up to 15 hours a week if desired.

Employee Requirements

• Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
• Able to comprehend oral and written communication skills to effectively read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
• Able to read tape measure.
• Able to operate all power equipment, forklifts, and common hand tools.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $58,250.00 per year
