The Overhead Door Specialist will be responsible for on-site customer visits, crafting quotes, and generating growth for the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a high level of integrity, and exceptional customer service skills in order to communicate the value of our products to our clients. The Overhead Door Specialist will need to demonstrate excellent computer skills and a working mechanical aptitude. This position will work closely with the Inside Sales Representative to achieve sales goals. Duties and Responsibilities of the Overhead Door Sales Specialist include:
- Provides excellent customer service to all external customers and internal customers at Barron Equipment
- Exceeds customer expectations – Builds reoccurring sales and referrals
- Asks customers questions to determine needs and solutions
- Creates profitable business – Manages sales expenses
- Creates quotes for customers and prospects
- Conducts onsite visits with customers and prospects creating “trust." Trust is measured by appropriate margins, reoccurring sales and referrals
- Establishes strategic sales plans to meet and exceed the business plan
- Embraces Salesforce to manage customers interactions and opportunities
- Establishes time management systems (Salesforce) to systematically and strategically follow-up on quote and sales activities
- Maintains and grows existing customer accounts through building relationships
- Leverages relationships by selling maintenance agreements and product installation services
- Sells Overhead Doors, Openers, Remotes and Door parts
- Manages projects to completion with focus on building client advocacy
- Resolves customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions and provides recommendations that will secure long-term client relationships
Qualifications of the Overhead Door Sales Specialist:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience with a CRM, such as Salesforce
- Self-motivated and ambitious
- Overhead Door sales experience is preferred, but not required
