Full- Time

Compensation Range: 50,000.00 – 100,000.00

Full Job Description:

We are looking for an Estimator for an asphalt and concrete paving company.

Our Estimator will be expected to:

Seek out and acquire new business.

Meet with customers on site, assess project scope, take field measurements.

Create formal estimates for customers.

Preparing contract documents and signatures.

Research cost of materials, labor and equipment.

Getting quotes from suppliers.

Qualifications:

Must have 3+ years of experience in the asphalt business.

Must have a clean driving record.

Must have strong math & geometry skills.

Must have ability to review blueprints, specifications, proposals, plans & drawings.

Must have strong computer skills – Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.

Must have excellent communications skills both written and verbal.

Must have good organizational skills.

Willing to do some training to the right candidate.

Additional qualifications non mandatory

Mdot project experience

Project and subcontractor management
