Under the direction of the President, PCMI is looking for a passionate sales leader for our Consumer Warranty team based in Park Ridge, Illinois. This position will be tasked with building the Consumer Warranty team to complement our existing automotive warranty team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience and the ability to function as a sales leader with the mindset of a general manager.
The duties of the role are as follows:
Sales Process
- Know, understand, and be able to execute all steps of the consumer warranty sales process as it pertains to PCMI and the PCRS system, including but not limited to:
Product Knowledge - learning the PCMI software product at a fast pace
Prospecting – identify potential customers from researched leads, cold calls, web leads, assigned leads, and industry contacts
The Approach – Contacting and building a relationship with the prospect
The Needs Assessment – plan sales pitches and develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
The Presentation – set up meetings and demonstrations between client decision makers and company’s executives, perform sales presentations and demonstrations
The Close – participate in pricing the solution
Follow-Up – reach out to client to answer any questions, concerns, etc.

- Determine possible customers and types of customers they would be
- Document potential sales and maintain updated pipeline
- Identify decision makers within the potential client organization
- Are there any other markets we can target and penetrate?
- Determine what systems potential customers are currently using
- Contact appropriate personnel
- Communicate via cold calling, email, LinkedIn messaging, etc.
- Perform extensive research
- Research the competition
- Learn what our competition is doing differently and what their main points are in selling their products
- Compile a list of who their customers are
- Focus on Stone Eagle because we know their customers are unhappy and we should be converting
Experience:
- 10+ Years of Experience in Consumer Warranty sales
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
