Role Purpose
The Sales Specialist is responsible for a range of strategic and operational projects crucial to delivering new account growth of gases and achieving planned growth.
This position plays a key role in a customer driven supply chain organization charged with identifying, implementing and enhancing successful methods of delivering cylinder gas solutions to new and existing accounts.
Objectives of the role
- Collaborate with the business team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and enhance value creation strategies for new and existing gas products
- Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that are in line with organizational objectives
- Ensuring the sales efforts support the overall strategy and goals
- Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
- Manage customer relationships within new sales channel
Responsibilities and accountabilities include:
- Builds new market position in identified gases by locating, developing, defining, and closing business.
- Achieve annual sales targets and seek out opportunities for growth.
- Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements applicable to the new channel.
- Discovers and explores business opportunities.
- Screens potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements among internal team members and external customers
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Analyse, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders as needed
- Work with colleagues to ensure appropriate levels of communication are met
- Lead the development of our specific sales channel strategic plans
- Prepare engaging displays and collateral material as needed to support program and drive result
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience
- BA in business, marketing or a related field preferred
- 3 -5 years of sales experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
