Pre-Sales Software Engineer

Duties to Include:
- Work with Sales team, TAMs and PM for new customer solutions and for existing customer solutions
- Participate in pre-sales discovery meetings with Sales Reps
- Present demonstration of proposed solution to key customer stakeholders for validation
- Lead customer pre-sales meetings with Sales Reps, identify technical requirements
- Perform professional services and consulting duties with new/existing customer IT staff for new solution implementation.
- Train/develop/maintain vendor skill set and certifications for the engineer staff
- Upload company policies, procedures customer service culture
- Point of contact for client conflict resolution
- Act as the technical lead for complex customer engagements, applying extensive knowledge of solutions and/or vertical
- Provide technical responses for request for proposals (RFPs)
- Give suggestions on open issues
- Analyze and assess ongoing ticket issues
- Escalate to Vendor when necessary
- Review and approve all Statements of Work for feasibility
- Review estimated hours for Statements of Work
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience in computer science, information systems, or business administration
- Five years of industry experience, including two or more years in a sales engineering or consulting
- Proven technology skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Program, Project, and Business Management experience
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Positive, service-oriented personality
- Reliable vehicle, car insurance, valid driver’s license
- Extensive experience with PCs, Microsoft operating systems, cloud solutions, software, networking, and desktop peripherals, including Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to develop or modify code for custom demonstrations
Additional technology experience that would be beneficial as our Sales
- Experience with enterprise Content Services Platform solutions (ECM, BPM, etc.) preferred
- Experience with Intelligent Capture (Optical Character Recognition) and Robotic Process Automation products
- Experience with ERP, HRIS, and CRM systems is beneficial
- Exposure to VMware Workstation
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL queries
- Exposure to coding in [please apply online] VB Script, or HTML
