JOB SUMMARY:
The F&I Associate performs a number of functions including but not limited to; establishing good rapport with customers, coworkers, and lenders, reviewing and confirming agreed-upon sales figures, consulting with customers to determine their wants and needs while presenting and selling products to fulfill them, obtaining credit approval, and preparing delivery documentation.
JOB RESPONSABILITY:
- The F&I Associate must work well with the sales team to determine best practices, lenders, and products for the customer.
- Must practice strict legal compliance and ethical behavior.
- Must be able to interact with customers at a high level and sell back end products at a high leve.l
- Must always act in a professional manner and be respectful to the customers.
- Must be able to work in a fast passed environment and multi-task.
- The F&I Associate must utilize a menu to present available product options to the customer.
- The F&I Associate must be able to cultivate relationships with the lenders.
- The F&I Associate must be an expert on all products on the menu.
- Offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products, extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
- Seeking new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
- Processing financing deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources that comply with federal, state and corporate channels.
- Understanding and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used-vehicle and finance departments.
- Creating and maintaining a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
- Training and providing the sales team with information on finance and the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service programs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Sales experience, preferably in an automotive environment.
- Must be self motivated and a fast learner.
- Must be comfortable with commission based pay.
- Must be able to maintain high ethical standards and professionalism.
- Must be flexible with work schedule; available to work on Saturdays.
- Requires strong communication skills, written and oral, to work with a variety of individuals.
- A college degree or equivalent experience in finance is preferred, but not required.
- A strong background in business, marketing and efficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be able to handle finances appropriately and accurately; finalizing end of day reports.
HOURS:
Store Hours: Tuesday-Friday: 9am-6pm, Thursday: 9am-8pm, Saturday: 9am-4pm.
Mondays & Sundays: Closed

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
