Product Quotation Support o Utilize corporate PLM system to enter and track quotes o Follow up with functional groups to ensure completion of tasks and timely delivery of customer quote o Release engineering change requests through the system and track product through launch o Enter quotations to the customer(s) system including piece price and tooling o Support special means purchase orders and one-off requests (ex. weekend overtime, packaging, freight, etc.) Ensure Accurate Customer Pricing o Track raw material index and update customer pricing on a quarterly basis o Track tier 2 component parts and update pricing as necessary o Update customer price breakdown sheets o Update internal trackers as necessary Review Customer Tooling o Coordinate and complete customer tool survey’s with plant management o Coordinate and complete customer Tool Information Records (TIR’s) as required o Track payment milestones to ensure timely cash flow Forecasting Support o Review IHS Markit information and support customer forecast on a quarterly basis o Review customer forecast and coordinate with manufacturing sites Capacity Management o Update customer systems with necessary product capacity information o Initiate studies through for capacity increase, product resource, etc. Support Customer Service Organizations o Track shipments to service and coordinate necessary follow up with the customer o Update customer price and delivery terms o Update customer packaging and packaging records Continuously improve functional effectiveness by participating in appropriate continuing education classes, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, etc.
Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree with a technical field preferred Possess knowledge of automotive and heavy truck markets Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive or manufacturing industry Ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interface with internal customers Ability to influence and lead cross functional teams Self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision Occasional travel may be required Must be a U. S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
