ABOUT THE POSITION

The Sales Operations Manager creates and drives efficiencies, protocol, and policies to contribute to the profitability and effectiveness of the wholesale sales commercial channel. They are responsible for building and refining business operations policies, and best practices. This person successfully works cross-functionally with other departments including Planning, Marketing, Finance and IT to implement and execute business strategies. They are responsible for the overall performance of the Wholesale Sales operations ensuring alignment of prAna’s current and future needs. This role is an opportunity to be part of a sales team that will influence the future of prAna. It is integral in taking prAna to the next level of growth and will help build a culture that is consumer obsessed.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Sales Policy and Processes Management

  • Identify process automation/improvement opportunities within Sales Operations support and work with cross functional teams to implement initiatives.

  • Maintain Wholesale Expense Budget and reconcile monthly financials.

  • Optimize operational systems, processes, and policies in support of managing the seasonal order book and shipping file.

  • Maintain procurement and contract records.

  • Facilitate liquidation cadence and adherence.

  • Oversee alignment across departments with CSC account services team.

Systems Management and Data Maintenance

  • Track and maintain data integrity across multiple tools and workflows, identify and resolve data inconsistencies.

  • Lead B2B strategy by leveraging seasonal selling initiatives and B2B selling.

  • Own master customer database management, terms, and account regulations

  • Ensure ATS integrity and identify opportunities with Product Planning Manager and Sales team.

  • Facilitate EDI set up and testing with IS team and 3rd party EDI teams.

  • Maintain dealer locator for website accuracy.

Business and Sales Management Support

  • Partner with Sales Management and Marketing to develop and implement best-in-class sell-in tools.

  • Creation and execution of seasonal sales promotions to align with cross-functional initiatives with a focus on Strategic Accounts

  • Lead MAP policy adherence by leveraging information from CSC Sales Operations as well as other monitoring tools.

  • Execute drop ship set up and customer communications.

  • Dealer Training/onboarding Sales Reps on B2B and sales tools.

  • Oversight of sample management with cross functional team.

Reporting/Forecasting

  • Responsible for shipping forecasts with a focus on 3 months out accuracy, rolling up to quarterly and annual forecasts; own sales input for consensus meetings.

  • Partner in Replenishment analysis and forecasts; directing bulk adjustments monthly.

  • Manage seasonal terms and discount programs tracking system, partner with CSC pricing team with discounts and promos.

  • Anticipate risks and uncover opportunities for efficiency.

  • Track monthly and report shipping performance for internal reviews and Corporate quarterly business reviews.

Events and Sales Meeting Management

  • Lead Sales Meeting, Rep Summit, and Trade Show planning and execution

  • Proactively gain understanding of the vision for the event and develop plans to achieve vision.

  • Manages site selection and related contract review and negotiation.

  • Owns communication with external reps, international and domestic guests from Columbia Sportswear Company, third-party distributors and internal prAna employees attending the event.

  • Post-event, reconciles and finalizes expenses and total budget, conducts project debrief assessment meeting.

YOU ARE

  • You understand the wholesale landscape and have a strong sales operations expertise in account services, and love leading a team.

  • Have an established track record as a proven sales operations professional leading a team to provide best in class customer service.

  • This role blends a mix of autonomy with regular collaboration with cross-functional company teammates in Marketing, Merchandising, Analytics, Operations, and Planning.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience of wholesale industry, apparel a plus!

  • Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

  • B2B experience, ideally NuOrder.

  • Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory, operations, and production control.

  • Experience working with advanced ERP systems.

  • 5+ years’ experience with EDI and related software.

  • Clear and effective communicator.

  • Problem solver.

  • Highly organized and operates with a sense of urgency around deadlines.

  • Self-Starter that is comfortable leading a team to achieve results.

Salary Range: $89,100 - $148,700 Annual
