Job Description

RKT is seeking an ambitious Insurance Sales Producer to join our Voluntary Worksite Benefits team. This individual will be responsible for marketing and selling voluntary life and disability insurance to current Federal, State and Municipal employees throughout Maryland.

Job Responsibilities Include:

· Sell life and disability products to employees throughout the state of Maryland

· Call on existing federal, state and city agencies to schedule enrollment meetings

· Network to establish and develop relationships with key contacts at various government agencies

· Maintain a high level of expertise of the various supplemental products available in the marketspace

· Develop and implement product sales and marketing presentations to both key decision makers and government employees

· Proactively identify and understand client needs to determine the best product solutions

Job Requirements

· Life/ Health Licenses preferred – Company paid licensing considered for the right candidate

· 2+ years of direct sales experience

· Must possess excellent communication, presentation and people skills

· Must be a self-starter, motivated, and driven to succeed

· Must be highly organized and with strong time management skills

· Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel within Maryland
