What does a Freight Broker/Business Development Manager Do?

• Manage and develop a client portfolio providing client cost savings while increasing profitability
• Sell and negotiate with mid-level management
• Manage client’s daily shipments
• Proactively communicate, providing excellent customer service. Identify & uncover organic growth opportunities within your client portfolio
• Continuously achieve Customer Sales Rep metrics and KPIs
• Negotiate pricing with clients and prospective clients
• Willingness to learn, grow and adapt to a changing industry
• Close deals with prospective clients
• Think on the fly, multitask, and demonstrate strong communication skills
• Build dynamic, long-lasting customer relationships
