The Product Support Sales Coordinator position is required to represent and promote the company's facilities and services; specifically the parts and service departments but also including new sales, and rental.

DUTIES:

  • Establish and maintain a rapport with customers, which promotes fairness to the Customers and our Organization.
  • Aggressively promote and sell all company product lines and services on a full time basis and to maintain close contact with all customers.
  • Assist with maintaining and increasing the sales volume of Parts & Service through review of PM's, quoting work, monitoring the work on quoted jobs, reviewing shop inspections, and maintaining customer relations.
  • Produce satisfactory sales volume and gross profit for the company while obtaining goals set forth.
  • Strive to achieve and maintain excellence in customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain office work area and files in clean and neat appearance.
  • Dress in an appropriate manner that exemplifies professionalism and company image.
  • Actively promote and recommend better ways to serve our customers and our company.
  • PM's: Review PM's, follow up with the technician and customers on recommended repairs, and successfully sell additional service work resulting from PM's.
  • Time & Account Management: It will be up to the Support Sales Coordinator to establish a routine and schedule that allows them to effectively cover their accounts as well as execute the administrative process of quotes. The general rule should be that 25% of your time is spent calling/visiting customers to steward relationships and 75% of your time should be spent with the quote process, reviewing work orders, and monitoring shop work flow. These percentages are best case examples but as a rule you should spend more time quoting work, following up on parts issues, monitoring work in the shop, and focusing on capturing additional repairs. We expect you to be proactive in planning your work and your customer calls and following that plan to the best of your ability.
  • Service Quotes: It will be the responsibility of the Support Sales Coordinator to properly manage their time and accounts. It is crucial that the majority of your day is spent communicating with customers. Facilitate and process some of the more administrative requirements associated with Parts & Service sales. Be responsible for generating, processing, and providing quotes to the appropriate personnel. When appropriate, communicate directly with the customer in order to sell and receive approval for parts and/or service sales. It will be your discretion, in conjunction with the PSSR, to determine what you need to quote and what others can quote. Certain customers and certain situations will determine your direct involvement.
  • Provide input as to how best to use the Hugg & Hall business system to facilitate the quoting process. Implement recommended changes to the quoting process and proper execution of changes.
  • Assist with developing best practices with use our business system for measuring PM efficiency, generating as well as measuring additional work from PM's, and analyzing gross profit generated from customer accounts.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining a Customer Management system which would allow for better access of customer information and result in improved customer service.

Qualifications: Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner

Required Skills/Experience

minimum 3 years of sales and account management and/or customer service experience

minimum 21 years of age

Education

College degree preferred

High School Diploma with relevant experience

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:

This position will mostly be working in an indoor office environment with a controlled climate. At times this position will work in operating facilities and outdoors traveling to numerous customer locations. The employee will encounter varying weather conditions and temperatures. The normal auto hazards will apply.

This position is continuously required to talk or hear; regularly required to sit, stand, walk, or climb.

This position will frequently use hands to type and requires sitting at a computer desk for extended periods of time with frequent use of computer keyboard.

Must be able to frequently lift up to 100 pounds.

Position requires driving vehicle to and from customer locations on occasion.
