LifeStraw is seeking a full-time Amazon Account Manager to manage our existing portfolio and develop the business by managing a wide range of accounts including those on Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon FBA. The ideal candidate will have experience either selling their own products via Amazon Seller Central or working with/for an agency that specializes in Amazon. This position will report to the VP of Sales. Priority will be placed on local and relocatable candidates.
This role is a hybrid position (3 days in office and 2 remote), based at our HQ in Baltimore, MD. Relocation benefits provided.

Job Title: Amazon Account Manager Department: Sales

Position Overview

The Amazon Account Manager will manage our existing portfolio and develop the business by managing a wide range of accounts including those on Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon FBA. The ideal candidate will have experience either selling their own products via Amazon Seller Central or working with/for an agency that specializes in Amazon. This position is hybrid and based in Baltimore, MD.

What You’ll Be Doing – The Essentials

  • Implement product segmentation and brand strategy for Amazon 1P (focused on uncovering new opportunities), Amazon subsidiaries, and additional digital accounts.
  • Work in conjunction with the sales team to define a product strategy across the holistic Amazon business.
  • Experience with Amazon advertising. Creating and optimizing existing campaigns for the highest level of ROAS.
  • Collaborate to achieve PDP optimization & maintain the digital shelf.
  • Lead sell–in and sell-through of key categories to achieve profitable growth with the account base.
  • Use strong business acumen and retail math to drive sustainable top and bottom-line sales for the Amazon channel.
  • Drive account growth and profitability by assessing and building on areas of momentum; capitalize on all product and operational opportunities with all Amazon business.
  • Develop strategic digital sales plan by leveraging account insight, data, and goals to enhance the partnership.
  • Leverage market and competitor trends as well as digital enhancements and developments by staying engaged and educated on the entire digital landscape.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally through a professional and respectful approach.
  • Deliver clear and timely reports, forecasts, and sales analysis for your account base both on a consistent and ad-hoc basis.
  • Manage order book from initial PO receipt through delivery actioning all blocks, claims, and compliance.
  • Manage Amazon agency relationships utilizing a collaborative approach to maintain a best-in-class Amazon catalog.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.

Experience and Education Profile
  • Bachelor’s or higher education in business administration or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role.
  • Proven sales track record and experience in customer support.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Experience dissecting market trends and with market insight.
  • Experience either selling own products via Amazon Seller Central or working with/for an agency that specialized in Amazon.

Physical demands include bending, carrying, pushing-pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, walking and extremes of temperature and humidity, as well as travel between physical locations. Hazards include stairs and communicable diseases.
