We are a busy shelving manufacturing company servicing primarily retail clients, as well as agriculture, food service, government, administrative, and additional market sectors. We pride ourselves on being one of the industry's leading back of house one-stop shop for shelving, high-density mobile systems, lockers, and other stockroom accessories. For the past 35+ years, we have been an influencer in the shelving/warehousing industry, and our account management team has ensured that we keep our clients returning.
Summary of Position:
· Provide targeted and personalized support to specific clients purchasing shelving, accessories, and other services (such as freight, inspections, permitting, and installation).
· Understanding clients business model to help adapt the size shelving that will accommodate to their products and goods.
· Assist in layout design and execution of shelving system in clients space.
· Confirmation of all materials, parts, and pieces being purchased via blue print/floor plan understanding and reading.
· Processing of client purchase order through a series of programs and processes internally designed by MMI team.
· Work closely with engineer in establishing shop order and shelving pick list sent to our warehouses to be manufactured.
· Coordination with clients GC and site supervisors in meeting schedule delivery and install dates for new store and remodel build outs.
· Processing projects for invoice prep, ensuring project budgets and client expectations are met.
· Work with seismic engineer, special inspection agencies, and certain jurisdictions for permit acquisition.
· Working in an energetic team environment, the candidate must be able to adapt to other team member's working and communication styles.
· Primarily, this role will involve assisting overall team in facilitating a close working relationship with GCs, architects, site supervisors, buyers & store planners on each and every project.
· Our entire staff is expected to keep our clients' needs fulfilled and should contribute to our success in being one of the top shelving suppliers across the nation.
Job Requirements and Skills Include:
· Willing to learn and understand account-specific company regulations, key players, preferred component and methods of operation.
· Desire to go above and beyond in fulfilling staff's working needs which may vary from person to person.
· Ability to communicate complications to operations and supporting internal departments.
· Willing to acquire a comprehension of construction documents such as floor plans/blueprints.
· A fast paced demeanor with strong attention to detail and ability to keep organized while multitasking.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Outlook and Excel.
· Willing to work overtime hours and answer calls outside of business hours when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
