We are an independent insurance agency specializing in home, auto, life and business insurance. We have been serving its clients' needs throughout the Metropolitan Washington D.C. area including Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. since 1984.

We are looking for an experienced licensed CSR to add to our team. As a team member, you will be building strong relationships within our community.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT (licensed agent) -- provide customer service for personal lines that will include servicing home, auto, and umbrella. Provide customer service for commercial lines, including simple changes and certificates. As we are a small office, and depend heavily on referrals, developing strong relationships with the policyholders is important.

REQUIREMENTS
3 years experience desired
*Property and Casualty License with a thorough knowledge of personal lines insurance
*Ability to work well with coworkers
*Ability to work well with different personalities to develop relationships with customers
*A strong work ethic

*Multi-tasking skills a must

*Strong Organizational skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

*Assist in creating ways for delivering excellent customer service
*Supporting agents in quoting new business and soliciting account rounding business
*Handle calls that include servicing and handling of claims.

REQUIRED EDUCATION
High school or equivalent

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Property Insurance: 3 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
