So, let me tell you about me, my company, and the job.
My name is Joe Brammer and I am the CEO of Elite Edge Transformation Center We have 6 Locations in the Iowa area and have been in business for 12 years.
Our business is dedicated to helping men, women, and competitive athletes achieve their health, fitness, weight loss and performance goals through customized fitness and nutrition programs.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, hard working, and energetic person to handle our Sales duties.
The facility we are hiring at is located at 3639 1st Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402.
We currently offer semi-private, small group, and large group fitness and nutrition programs that motivate, educate, and support men, women, and teens to improve their health, fitness, and performance.
If you are hired for this job, the first 90 days on the job will be on a trial period. After the 90 day probationary period it will be a permanent 25-40 hours a week. The first 3 weeks you will be working M-F between the hours of 9am and 7pm as needed for on the job training. Once you become permanent you will have the opportunity to gain more experience and grow within the company!
Tasks We Need You To Perform
- Answering and returning phone calls from customers and prospects: You will be the first point of contact for all prospective clients and customers. Also, when you're not here to answer the phone, many of the calls will go to voicemail. You'll be responsible for returning those calls the next day.
- Responding to sales calls and emails: We get quite a few phone calls and email every day. I am very big on customer service. You will need to respond to each of these within 24 hours or next business day with basic information that we'll provide to you. So you must be comfortable with the phone, using email, and be a good typist.
- Filing: Basic stuff to keep up with the paper flow.
- Sales: Meeting with prospective Clients and helping them choose the best program for their needs. Must have sales experience and proven track record of closing deals and be a self starter.
Required Skills
These are the skills you must already have in order to qualify for this position:
- Sales: You must have sales experience and a track record of setting and closing appointments, all leads will be provided for you, so no cold calling.
- Social Media: You must be comfortable using and producing content for Facebook and Instagram
- Microsoft Excel: You must have basic Excel skills - you won't have to do anything advance with this software, just some simple spreadsheets, but you must be comfortable doing what we need you to do.
- Good Phone Personality/Etiquette: You will be talking with our clients and customers, who are VERY important to us, and prospective customers, who are also important! You must be comfortable conversing on the phone, in person, and through email. You must know how to conduct yourself professionally, take clear messages, and deliver clear instructions to the prospect or client. We'll teach you everything you need to say and do, but we can't teach you manners and professionalism.
- Customer Service and People Skills:You must have a natural ability or "servant hood" mentality, positive attitude, and have impeccable people skills.
- Thoughtfulness and Organization:We need you to be able to think for yourself and be organized. I am very serious about this one!I do not want a robot; I want someone who learns and grows with our company.
- Attention to Detail: This is a must! You will need to catch the little things from scheduling, to wording, numbers, cleaning, etc.
