Responsibilities

• Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met.
• Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately and in a timely fashion.
• Other management responsibilities as determined by SRU leadership.
• Communicate staffing needs to SRU leadership; assist in interviewing and hiring quality candidates.
• Develop officers in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)
• Assure employee grievances are heard and resolved (with help from appropriate leadership, as required) and that personnel records are updated and accurate.
• Assure communication of policies, company announcements and job openings through a consistently updated document.
• Meet all contractual scheduled hours.
• Manage uniforms, equipment and supplies utilized at the Mercury Marine Fond Du Lac location. As well as maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists.
• Take a proactive role in communicating with Mercury Marine and SRU leadership and meeting their needs; meet with both SRU and Client leadership regularly, listen to issues, provide security and technical expertise and solutions. Ensure complete client satisfaction.
• Developing and maintaining a dashboard of progress reports and critical data points which may include but not limited to, staffing levels, schedule changes and training to share with SRU leadership.
• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers assigned at Mercury Marine Fond Du Lac site; acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• May be required to perform the duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policy.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Primary liaison between SRU and Client

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-year degree or 4 year preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred – special consideration given for management of security, military, or law enforcement.
• Ability to develop and grow customer relationships.
• Experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality staff.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills required.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment as well as work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis.
• Previous payroll, billing and scheduling experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to obtain a state unarmed security license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
